Supermen & Harry

At the ward trunk-or-treat.

Butterfly Girl

This is Robyn at our ward trunk-or-treat party. The girl rocks in pink!

Nana & Robyn

My mom was here for 17 days, (now that she's gone we're all sad and hungry).

Aidan & Robyn

Aidan is crazy about Robyn and ALWAYS wants to hold her. He is very still and quiet when he holds her, without anyone ever telling him to be. I guess it's just instinct.
The first time he held her he was in awe of her and couldn't take his eyes off her. Suddenly, he bowed his head and said a little prayer. We were all taken aback, (and if you knew Aidan you would be, too). It was a really cool moment.

Ethan & His New Sister

Ethan couldn't wait to hold her, (this was the day after she was born) but his attention span is short and he doesn't ever hold her for very long.

Robyn Dale Pickard

So, she's finally here! On Monday night , (the 15th) around 7:30 I started feeling contractions with a little bit of intensity, so at 8:00 I called my midwife to let her know I'd probably be going into labor that night. My mom timed the contractions for an hour and they were mostly about 5 minutes apart, so we decided to head out. We dropped the kids off with T.J. and Dawn, (Dave's brother and his wife) and started the 40 minute drive to the birth center. By now my contractions were becoming increasingly difficult to manage, especially in the winding, sometimes bumpy roads we were taking to get to the birth center. We arrived at about 9:45 and I was seriously concerned with how I was going to manage many hours of this intense pain with no drugs, ("What was I thinking, going to a BIRTH CENTER!?) but when Michelle checked me I was already dilated to a 9, (thank heaven) so I knew I was almost done. I was able to rest between contractions and it didn't take long before I was pushing. In 2 or 3 pushes, (at 10:17)out she came, sunny-side-up, pink, eyes wide open, and talking! She was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen, (sorry Ethan & Aidan) and I felt instant relief from the pain. It was amazing.

Due Date

For anyone paying attention, my due date has come and gone and I still have nothing to show for it, but if you know what's good for you you won't ask or tell me anything to do with babies until after you know I've had mine! (Yes, I'll let you know when it happens)

Comfy Seat

Aidan likes to get really comfortable when he watches a movie. His dad created this seat by putting a large pillow in a tupperware bin and putting his blankie over him. He wouldn't come out for a long time.

"Good Reading" Post

Okay, so, did I mention I'm new at this? The Good Reading posts are in reverse order, but I'm sure you can figure that out.

Good Reading 3

This is Ethan begging his Dad to leave him alone so he can take care of business in private. Poor kid.

Good Reading 2

This was after he saw Dave with the camera.

Good Reading 1

Is it cruel of me to post these pictures? Probably, but it was so stinking hillarious I wanted to share! (Dave took the pictures, we don't know why they're fuzzy)

Chelan, Angela, and Me in various stages of Pregnancy

New Blog

I've decided to finally start our own blog, rather than wait for all of you to get a myspace account. Here I will try and keep up with posting all the amazing exploits of our family, along with new pictures. As you know, I am notoriously lazy, so this may not last too long.
